How Super Affiliates Are Crushing It

At the recent Las Vegas Affiliate Summit the main points that many attendees took away with them were that of the SAs (super affiliates) who are doing really online (and by “really well”, I mean people earning 7 and 8 figure incomes per year), many of them make over 80 percent of their total revenue from just a handful of niches. In most cases, it was just one or two niches.

The big revenue earning niches varied, but the SAs pulling in the big dollars ($80,000 and up per month) were seeing the successes they were seeing because they …

followed a simple formula:

  1. Pick a niche in which there are rabid buyers.
  2. Get to know the niche extremely well.
  3. Become the dominant, “go to” person in the niche.
  4. Promote extensively through natural SEO and effective media placement, and through PPC and search engine content networks.

Although there are lots of affiliates doing really well in lots of different niches, the SAs who are doing $80,000 and up per month and up are doing so in
self help; anti spyware/adware software; online and offline money making niches including Forex; TV on PC software; and in the fitness, weight loss, and muscle gain niches.

Regardless of the affiliate network, the biggest overall niche seemed to be the fitness and health niche, with money making niches coming in a close second.
Of the senior staff interviewed from numerous networks again and again the answer was clear: weight loss, muscle gain, and fitness were by far the biggest earners.

The other thing that seemed noteworthy is that video sales letters are beginning to take over from written sales letters. Now, before you dash off to do your own video sales letters you’d be well advised to TEST stuff first. But there are two points to remember and to test on your own site: you don’t need a video camera to create video.

All you need is some image capture software or a series of slides onto which you dub a voice over. The second thing is that by excluding any kind of fast forward button it’s possible to increase sales. Again, you’d be well advised to test this in your particular niche, but the possibilities here for greater sales ought to be obvious. But just in case they’re not, here’s a round up: offering solutions to customers in niches where there is lots of competition proves there are buyers willing to spend money.

The more your offer can educate the customer the better for you because educated customers are empowered customers. And empowered customers spend money.
